A bit about me
Hey there, I'm Bhuvana – a travel enthusiast, illustrator and visual storyteller. I'm on a mission to find the perfect cup of coffee wherever I go, turning each sip into a little adventure. From exploring new cultures to hanging out with fluffy pals, my life is a mishmash of passions.
When I'm not on the move, you'll catch me doodling away in my sketchbook, letting my imagination run wild. And oh, did I mention I'm that person who stops every few steps to capture the beauty of random moments with my camera? Yup, that's me!
Whether it's the buzz of a new city, the cute bark of a puppy, or the joy of putting pen to paper, my world is a canvas waiting to be splashed with creativity. Life's too short for anything less, right?

My Journey
The Past - My inspiration
Born and raised in the 'City of Joy,' Kolkata, in a Bengali household filled with talented individuals, I was immersed in the rich world of art and culture from an early age. Drawing began as a personal form of art therapy during my teenage years, gradually evolving into an exploration of visual storytelling while pursuing my B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism. This journey ignited my passion for visually communicating ideas that drive growth and inspire societal change.

In 2024, I completed my postgraduate degree in Design and Advertising from École Intuit Lab, Mumbai, further enhancing my expertise with another diploma specialization in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design.
​
The Present - Career path
With a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and human emotion, I have had the privilege of working on diverse creative projects that push the boundaries of creativity while focusing on meaningful, practical designs with a broad appeal.
​
Currently, I am a UX/UI consultant for an IT-based company and work as a freelance graphic designer and artist. Alongside this, I am pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling from Symbiosis University to deepen my understanding of human behavior and therapeutic practices.
​
Throughout my career, I have conducted numerous workshops across institutions and communities in Mumbai and Kolkata. These workshops focus on raising awareness about the transformative benefits of expressive arts for personal growth and well-being.
My dedication extends to collaborating with an NGO in Mumbai that supports children with multiple disabilities, where I contribute my expertise in expressive arts to aid their development, foster creativity, and cultivate empathy to drive meaningful change.

Collaboration and teamwork form the cornerstone of my design philosophy. I firmly believe that an open mindset and collective effort can lead to the creation of something truly remarkable.
Guided by the inspiration and mentorship of talented individuals, I aim to design solutions that leave a lasting impact, resonate deeply with people, and contribute to positive change in society.
